Back to school is one of those familiar phrases that students and parents will always have mixed feelings about. It comes around every year like clockwork, a time of anticipation and excitement as young people move toward living independently. New beginnings signal the start of another phase in your child’s life. CAA can ease the transition with an Associate Membership. Make this a part of your care package — it’s an essential back-to-school item for the student on the road.
CAA’s Associate Membership lets young adults who are attending a post-secondary school join their parents’ household CAA plan.

CAA’s Associate Membership lets young adults who are attending a post-secondary school join their parents’ household CAA plan. They get the same 24/7 roadside assistance and Member benefits as you do, including four emergency roadside calls a year. They need to be 16 or older and maintain your home as their permanent and mailing address. (Exceptions are allowed for school attendance away from home.)
With an Associate Membership, you will know your student is safe on the road. They get a membership card in their name, which allows access to emergency roadside services including a battery boost, tire change, fuel delivery and lockout service. They also receive towing coverage according to your membership level. Associate Members also have access to travel discounts and Member savings on everyday purchases such as fuel, food, dining, and entertainment. But most importantly, you will have the peace of mind knowing that there’s a helping hand at the ready when they’re out there on the road without you.
