This cluster of dramatically formed, stooping aspen trees features uniquely twisted branches that grow everywhere but straight. Found 100 km northwest of Saskatoon, locals attribute the arboreal anomalies on the three-acre site to everything from contaminated soil to UFOs. It’s likely, however, that these corkscrew limbs are thanks to a genetic mutation. — Truc Nguyen
