WHERE IN THE WORLD
Creature Feature
IT WAS SIX YEARS AGO when the remains of a prehistoric long-necked reptile were found in Saskatchewan — the only specimen of its kind in the world. This Instagrammable life-sized roadside attraction commemorates that discovery, imagining what the creature may have looked like when it walked the earth.

Last issue’s “Where in the World?” featured the Paperclip Cottage, in the town of Kipling. It was named for the first item bartered — a red paper clip — in a series of infamous online trades that included a fish-shaped pen, a snowmobile and travel vouchers for the Canadian Rockies and, eventually, the two-storey building now housing this café.
