It’s a sweet escape to daydream about the places you wish you could visit — the experiences, the landscapes, the people. But then the challenge of planning it all hits you like a Saskatchewan Screamer, and it’s a quick snap back to reality. If the challenge of planning it all out is stopping you from turning that daydream into reality, there’s a simple solution — a guided tour. Let someone else curate the perfect vacation for you. Experience a pre-built itinerary filled with expertly guided, top-rated activities. Transportation is taken care of, and so are the accommodations. You don’t have to decide what you want to see, or how to time it. Many of the dining arrangements are set, too. The only thing left for you to do is pack and show up. As a CAA Member, a guided tour is just a click away, with club partner WestWorld Tours providing extensive options for that daydream adventure. Specializing in exceptional travel experiences, it’s easy to book, and you can go solo, with a partner, family or friends. A dedicated tour director is always with your group, and professional guides provide knowledge, insight and intrigue at every destination on the itinerary.

WestWorld Tours offers Women Xplorers tours, an experience designed by women, for women. Travelling with an all-female group comes with advantages, as it’s customized for specific needs and comfort levels. Go with your grandmother, sister, partner, mother, daughter or bestie, and make memories together — or travel on your own. This tour option offers soft adventure so that you can enjoy your experience with the confidence and security of an all-female group. For solo travellers who prefer company, guided tours are the perfect opportunity. The social aspect of the tour group makes it easy to enjoy the camaraderie of others on the adventure. It is also a budget-friendly solution — travellers can save the usual single supplement fees by being paired in a double room with another person.

Just ask Steve Kinneman. At 73, Kinneman has explored North America from coast to coast — and every province and state in between. And then he began looking for destinations farther afield. It was in 2025, while on the Best of the Southwest group trip with WestWorld Tours, that Kinneman fell for the allure of the guided tour. After an outstanding experience, including standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon, he couldn’t wait to book his next big thrill — a 19-day African adventure. And while he looked forward to another informative and action-packed tour, he was pleasantly surprised to see a familiar face in Africa. Koral Hrominchuk, who had just guided him around the southwest, was now leading him across the savannah. For the next two and a half weeks, Kinneman’s group explored the continent, from Chobe National Park’s exotic wildlife roaming the riverbanks to Victoria Falls, with its massive sheets of water thundering down. The group experienced the land, wildlife and culture, including a lesson about Nelson Mandela and his legacy at Johannesburg’s Apartheid Museum — all under the expert guidance of Hrominchuk. Now a seasoned traveller, Kinneman has booked two more WestWorld group tours for 2026.

Whether you’ve got a bucket-list experience in mind or you’ve been bitten by the travel bug and you’re on the search for the perfect destination, the variety of options offered by CAA tour partners will inspire. Explore another side of Canada with a guided tour to Churchill, Man., where you can not only see polar bears and belugas, but also tour the tundra and taiga in a rover. Check out the capital cities of Eastern Europe, visiting medieval towns and castles and experiencing a wide variety of culture and cuisine. Go on safari, or a surf retreat — get globe-trotting! Adventure is calling, and a tour guide awaits.

Plus, CAA Members receive discounts and benefits on tours from WestWorld and other CAA tour partners. The biggest challenge might just be trying to decide which tour you should start with first. Set out on a guided tour for your next adventure — you might even bump into Kinneman or Hrominchuk somewhere along the way. CAA
