HAVING A CAA MEMBERSHIP isn’t just for roadside service. With one of the largest loyalty programs in Canada, CAA offers discounts and CAA Rewards Dollars at over 124,000 partners across Canada and the United States. Ideal for the whole family, membership quickly pays for itself — if you know how to use it. Here’s how your family could benefit from being CAA Members.

Perks for the parents with kids
When you’re busy working parents managing the schedules of your active kids — the play dates, the after-school lessons and sports — your cars are always on the go. There are discounts and rewards available to help keep them on the road. These include mechanics and body shops, as well as discounts on tires and other services. Plus, with all the driving you do, saving three cents per litre on gas and 10 percent off on retail and carwash services at Shell will help stretch the household budget! Insurance is also built into that budget, and CAA Members receive a 10 percent discount just for bundling their home and auto extension insurance.
Family outings can add up — but with a membership, so do the savings! As Rider Nation gains a new generation, Members enjoy discount pricing on online ticket purchases to a Saskatchewan Roughriders game. A Parks Canada Discovery Pass is 10 percent off for Members, ideal for making memories hiking and camping in the province’s great outdoors.

Perks for the grandparents
Retired and enjoying the freedom to travel and indulge? A membership is perfect for those golden years. For snowbirds, the savings on travel are a practical place to start. An experienced CAA Travel Consultant can book your escape for the winter! From hotels and resorts to spas and tours, there are numerous partners to enjoy — the rewards and savings keep stacking up. To get you on your way, CAA stores even take passport photos — with membership pricing, of course.
And don’t forget insurance. Whether you’re after trip coverage, interruption and cancellation or medical insurance, CAA has all the options available — and Members save 10 percent off premiums.

Perks for that favourite aunt
She loves to visit her niblings and can’t wait to catch up with her siblings whenever she blows into town. She doesn’t have a car but is pleased that her membership offers savings and rewards when renting one. That VIA Rail discount of up to 20 percent off tickets is a great deal, too.
While getting there is half the fun, hanging out fills her heart. Bunking down for a fam-jam movie night calls for delivery, and Members enjoy 10 percent off at Original Joe’s Restaurant & Bar and 10 percent off at Montana’s BBQ & Bar.
It’s all fun and games when Auntie comes to visit, and a little online shopping at Puzzle Masters and Lego is a wonderful way to make sure the kids incorporate some analog activities in their mix! Puzzle Masters carries all kinds of games, from brain teasers to the traditional favourites, including chess, and rewards Members with seven percent back in CAA Rewards Dollars. Lego offers three percent back in CAA Rewards Dollars. Finally, a day out at the movies is a “reel deal” with up to 30 percent off Cineplex ticket packages — including snacks!
No visit is complete without some sister time, and State & Main Kitchen & Bar serves up the ambiance — and the wine. Members save 10 percent off on food and non-alcoholic beverages when you dine in, call ahead or for walk-in takeout. It’s always too short a visit, but with great deals and easy access, it’s easier to make them happen more often.

Memberships
Designed for those without a vehicle, the Value membership is only $10 a year. It doesn’t include roadside services but does offer access to all Member-exclusive savings and rewards. For those with a vehicle, roadside assistance is important. Memberships range from $108 to $215 a year, allowing you to opt for the level of service you need. There’s even an add-on for RV coverage.
The incredible benefits included in a CAA membership are practical for any lifestyle and easily cover the cost of a membership — and then some! CAA
