A LETTER FROM THE BOARD CHAIR

Ah! Summer in Saskatchewan

TÂN'SI! HELLO! As I write this message, I can’t help but think, “Wow, it’s already May — and that means summer is just around the corner.” Whatever your road trip plans are this summer, it’s important to share the road safely and responsibly. Eliminate distracted driving and ensure you Slow Down Move Over for first responders working on Saskatchewan’s highways. It’s the law to slow to 60 kilometres per hour for tow truck operators, construction crews, law enforcement, paramedics and firefighters. Let’s ensure they get home safely at the end of their workday. As a land-locked province, road travel is essential to enjoy Saskatchewan’s amazing provincial and regional parks, driving to the family cottage or taking in local events and festivals. CAA Roadside Assistance is available 24/7, 365 days a year, so now’s the time to renew or perhaps purchase your CAA Membership. Whether you’re driving an RV or car, you will have peace of mind knowing that CAA is with you every step of the way. Whether you have a flat tire, need gas, a tow or a battery boost, you can count on CAA to help get you and your family safely back on the road.

CAA Membership benefits extend to our travel and insurance services. Contact your local CAA Travel Consultant for help with flights, accommodations and vacation advice. Be sure to purchase travel insurance for you and your family to protect you in case of medical emergencies. Adding trip interruption coverage will help protect you against unforeseen circumstances that delay your trip. It also has you covered if the airline interrupts your flight or damages your luggage. Learn your rights as an air traveller through our handy Air Passenger Rights guide.

Exercise caution and take the necessary safety measures to help keep you and your family safe while operating your summer toys, such as RVs, boats, Sea-Doos, or ATVs. CAA Insurance offers a variety of products, including home, auto, personal accident, term life, health and dental, critical illness and pet insurance.
